Razors that help you Save while you Shave?

I think we all cringe a little as we walk down the toiletry section of the grocery store and buy yet another pack of razor blades. Since they're such a necessity (unless looking like a cave man comes back in style), and they rarely last very long, razor blades have become lucrative business for companies such as Gillette and Bic.

Whether you use the disposable razor blades or you shave with the slightly higher end, Venus or Fusion razor blades, I'm sure you're frustrated (as I am) with how the first one or two times they give a clean shave, but quickly become dull and pull at the hairs rather than cut right through them.

MagnaBlade has an idea to solve the problem
Using magnetic power to the extreme, MagnaBlade created a razor holder that will help to maintain your razor's sharpness. While I haven't used these blades yet, it seems like an awesome idea to help us all save money on razor blades.

Sounds like a breakthrough idea
According to MagnaBlade, "It accomplishes this with the built-in magnetic force field that prevents the separations of the molecules on the edge of the blade. The edge quality is prolonged by the constant exposure of the patented method of magnetic energy."

Operating purely on magnetic energy, the MagnaBlade doesn't require any batteries and doesn't plug into the wall. That has me a little pumped cause I can't stand my bathroom with 80 cords to plugin when getting ready.

Take a peak at the MagnaBlade for yourself:

How much does it save?
I don't think I'd really trust the MagnaBlade if they said it could make the razor last forever (although maybe we could get some psycho super magnets that could in MagnaBlade 2.0???). But they state it prolongs the use of your razors by 6 times the regular amount. So if you can calculate whatever your spending on razors, times it by 6, and put that amount of money in your pocket for a rainy day.

I haven't tested this product yet, but for $19.95 a blade that'll last 6 times as long, I think it's worth a shot. Stay tuned and I'll fill you in on more with the Magnablade. Until then, you can read more about the Magnablade on their website - MagnaBlade: Never a Dull Moment.
